First Nations support
We have worked with First Nations in identifying sources of pollution issues and presenting means of addressing them both through technical solutions and environmental management tools.
Our work has brought means of bringing back their traditional economies. We have worked on over 150 projects with First Nations in British Columbia, and Northern Canada.
Drinking water
ecoStrategic has deep international experience, when we were invited to help governments in Mexico address serious pollution problems for drinking water in 16 municipalities.
ecoStrategic was invited to help the Californian Central Valley farmers with their well based irrigation water. Over 9000 water wells in this region are beyond the UN Drinking Water Standard for arsenic levels, and high in heavy metals.
Our solutions approach for both problems was demonstrated quickly, effectively. Firstly, we explored the core issues and why it occurs; Secondly, implement a sustainable method that can be readily put in place with economic and technical transferability.
Environmental Experience
ecoStrategic has represented Canada in Chairing two International Standard Association (ISO) new Standards for energy efficiency and renewable energy.
We have worked as remediation experts on contamination for the Government of Northwest Territories (GNWT), British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro), and Parks Canada.
We have also conducted several research projects developing new understanding on how air pollutants from Asia have flowed to Arctic Canada, and other work on climate change in the north.
